Psychological & Mental Health Continuity

Psychological & Mental Health Continuity

Reopening is a milestone. Recovery is a process.

The psychological and organizational effects of a crisis can continue after immediate danger has passed. Leaders need a practical way to coordinate people, communications, essential operations, and sustained recovery.

The Mental Health Continuity Project is an emerging leadership framework developed through Allen “AJ” Edwards’s Hoover Institution Veteran Fellowship capstone work. It connects Prepare, Respond, Continue, and Recover.

Support can include a continuity assessment, leadership discussion, recovery roles, communication priorities, support coordination, and structured school feedback. The framework complements clinical and emergency-response resources; it does not replace qualified mental health care.

A complimentary independent-school pilot provides microcourse access, a continuity assessment and supporting framework, and a brief feedback process. No purchase or endorsement is required. The framework is being refined; validated effectiveness or pilot outcome claims are not being made. Fellowship affiliation does not imply institutional endorsement.
